Five questions when a rule changes
- Does it apply to my goods? Check the classification and country of origin.
- When does it start? Look at the effective date, and whether it depends on the date of export, entry, or something else.
- What changes on the entry? Duty rate, extra data, a new filing, or a new document.
- What has to change on my side? Pricing, contracts, product data, supplier documents.
- Who do I ask? Send the product and the shipment to the desk.
