Ports of entry

Where we file: Buffalo–Niagara Falls, Port Huron, Detroit

Truck and rail are the foundation of our work. These are the three ports where most of it is filed.

Where we file

Buffalo–Niagara Falls

Peace Bridge · Lewiston–Queenston

Our busiest port, and the one our office sits in, a few miles from the crossings. The Peace Bridge and Lewiston–Queenston are both part of this port, and together they carry most of our steady weekly truck entries from Southern Ontario.

Port Huron

Blue Water Bridge

Port Huron sits across the Blue Water Bridge from Sarnia, Ontario. We file entries for trucks crossing here.

Detroit

Ambassador Bridge

Detroit connects with Windsor, Ontario through the Ambassador Bridge. We file entries for trucks crossing here.

Air and ocean

Air and ocean entries are filed from the same desk. Freight that arrives by air or sea and then moves on by truck is handled the same way. Send the arrival notice or master bill as soon as you have it.

Which crossing?

Any of these crossings works. Tell us the one your carrier will use when you send the file, and we file the entry for that port. If you are not sure, say so in the request and we will tell you what the choice affects on the U.S. side.
