What gets in the way
- Waiting at the plaza with no answer.
- Paperwork that does not match the truck. The carrier's advance cargo data has to match the entry.
- Not knowing where to send a question.
How we help
For loads into the U.S., the carrier submits its advance cargo data (eManifest) and CBCBS files the entry. We watch for release and tell you when the load can move. If the entry is held, we tell you what CBP asked for and chase the missing piece. [VERIFY_WITH_CLIENT]
For loads into Canada, a licensed Canadian customs broker partner files the Canada entry, and the PARS or PAPS number is handled with them. CBCBS files U.S. entries only. We coordinate the hand-off. [VERIFY_WITH_CLIENT]
To work with us as a carrier, tell us the lanes you run and the crossings you use.
What to send us
- The load reference (entry number, or PARS or PAPS number for loads into Canada)
- The carrier name and your truck and trailer details
- The crossing and your expected arrival
- The shipper and consignee names
- Any change to the load: a split, a re-route or a delay
This is general information for our clients and prospects. It is not a ruling. Talk to the brokerage team before you ship.
